Every year millions of euro is raised for clubs, organisations, schools and charities at local Greyhound Stadia right across Ireland. So not alone can you raise some badly needed funds, but your club members and their friends can enjoy a great night out at the same time, building an even stronger club spirit.
Did you know that 2% of ALL winning prizemoney is donated to the Irish Retired Greyhound Trust? And that Greyhound Racing Ireland then match that amount in another donation?
So that means that not only is your cause raising funds from your fundraising event but so is the Irish Retired Greyhound Trust (IRGT).
Want to know more about the work of the IRGT? Visit their website www.GreyhoundsAsPets.ie.
We know that we've got a fundraising solution that works for you but don't just take our word for it. We asked just a few of those who've fundraised at their local Greyhound Stadium to tell you how it went for them.

"Limerick County Camogie board in conjunction with our clubs throughout the county held successful dog nights at Limerick Greyhound Stadium. These were major fundraising events to help raise much needed funds for the on-going development and promotion of Camogie in Limerick. As well as the financial benefit associated with the events we also benefitted from the social aspect of the dog nights which were well supported by all age groups with everybody having a great nights entertainment.
We very much appreciated the assistance and co-operation of the management of limerick greyhound stadium in helping us organise and run the event. We found the venue and facilities to be very suitable to our circumstances and needs particularly bearing in mind the large number of children who came along to enjoy the evening."
Maurice Barrett, Treasurer, Limerick County Camogie Board

As a member of the parents council we decided to hold a number of fundraisers at Mullingar Greyhound Stadium. It has always proved to be a very enjoyable night for all and we’ve managed to raise some much needed funds at the same time. The staff at the stadium have been very helpful at all stages and I would definitely recommend it as a good way for schools, clubs, charities to raise money and have a social night out at the same time.
