Liam Dowling & Ballymac Vic

Liam Dowling is one of the most succesful greyhound trainers of the modern era and we are delighted to showcase one of his favourites, Ballymac Vic, in the Shelbourne Park Museum. 

The Ballymac prefix and Ballymac Kennels near Tralee in Co. Kerry are famous in the world of Greyhound Racing, respected the world-over as some of the very best. 

Here in the Shelbourne Park Museum, you will see the trophy and presentation photo from the 2014 Hamilton Architects Champion Stakes Final, which was run on 26th July 2014.

Liam references plans to target the 2014 Irish Greyhound Derby after his success and while he did not win, Ballymac Vic put in a very impressive effort and finished in 3rd place in the Final of Ireland's most prestigious greyhound racing event.
