IN-FORM trainer Adam Dunford landed the feature final at Curraheen Park on Saturday night as Fantasy Adam (Jacktavern Gem-Newinn Madam) delivered a high-class performance to win the final of the €3,000 to the winner Bunty Cahill Memorial A2-A3 Stake.
The 4-5 favourite maintained his unbeaten run in the competition with another flawless display. Clocking a superb 3.26 sectional from trap six, the September puppy was quickly in control, and he flew around the opening corners in front. Soon clear, the bright prospect came home seven and a half lengths clear of Thurlesbeg Duke, in a brilliant, 28.29.

Droopys Croia (Signet Ace-Droopys Alice) went quickest in the semi-finals of the Shelley Fennelly Memorial Open Bitch Stake, winning for trainer Johnny Linehan and owner Sean Dunphy. Producing a quick start from trap three, the 3-1 shot was in a fantastic early battle with Carrigeen Whit. Strongest in the second half of the race, Droopys came home three lengths clear of Carrigeen, in 28.26. 10 lengths back to Cosmic View in third.
Good Katie (4) (Dromana Bucko-Hugh Dream) took the opening semi-final for John Kennedy Jnr. Knocknadoguestar took them along up front early, but the 5-1 winner was displaying plenty of speed on the back straight. Railing well, she took up the running between the final corners, and she went on to beat the early leader, by two lengths, in 28.39. The same distance back to Rural Ana in third place.
The closing race, an A0, went the way of Gaytime Joachim (Roaming Turbo-Gaytime Derval) for trainer Graham Holland and owner Brendan O'Connell. The 6-4 shot procdued a lively start from trap two, in front heading around the opening corners, the strong running winner went on to beat Confident Hugo, by two and a half lengths, in 28.55.
In the fifth, an SS0, Portrush Ben (Ballymac Cashout-Dingys Diva) impressed here for trainer Pat Kiely and owner Adrian McGarry. The 7-4 winner came away well from trap two, and once in front, the outcome was never in any doubt. A 17.62 winning performance, a length clear of Fahee Phantom.
In the following race, Timmys Bucks (Burgess Bucks-Trusted Exile) recorded a 12th career success for Tim and Olive Cliffe. Parkview Cash and Kilgraney Cash came together at the opening corners, and the winner was able to turn within touching distance. Displaying massive back straight speed, the powerful running tracker then delivered a big finish to score, in 28.42. Boderan Ace was next best, four and a half lengths back.
In race seven, an A0, Senahel Kate (Ballymac Bolger-Ballymac Trudi) produced her best form when winning for David and Ronan Lehane. Tracking well around the opening corners from the inside of the track, the 4-1 winner was catching the eye on the back straight. Finishing strongly, she beat the staying-on In The Sunset, by three-quarters of a length, in 28.60.
