This Friday’s card at Kilkenny Track will feature the opening round heats of the Lennies A1 Derby 525.

Boasting a wonderful winner’s purse of €10,000, it has attracted a brilliant entry with a total of seven opening round heats the highlight of Friday’s card. The meeting will also act as a fundraiser for Bridge United soccer club ensuring a large turnout and another tremendous atmosphere.

The final of The Lennies Derby A1 525 is scheduled to take place on Friday, September 25^th. That night will also act as a fundraiser for Thomastown GAA Club. There are a number of sponsored sweepstakes that will be run in conjunction with Lennies Derby, concluding on the same night. These include the Stephen Behan Memorial A3 which begins on Friday, September 11^th. It is for 24 greyhounds and offers a winner’s prize of €1,500.

VALUABLE STAKE APPROACHING

Owner and trainers should also take note that the TIME Greyhound Nutrition A3/A4 525 sweepstake begins on Friday, October 9^th.

It is for 36 greyhounds (back-graders permitted) and has an impressive winner’s prize of €5,000.
