PAT CAFFREY

It’s with sorrow we must report the sudden passing of a friend of greyhound racing, Pat Caffrey, over the weekend.

Those that frequent Shelbourne Park will know Pat who rarely missed a meeting in Dublin. A lovely man with a wonderfully peaceful demeanor, he was never seen without a smile.

We would like to take this opportunity to pass on our condolences to his family, his brother Noel, nieces and nephews, extended family, relatives, and his many friends.

Funeral Details

The death has occurred of Pat Caffrey, Hawkinstown, Garristown, Dublin / Garristown, Meath

Pat, unexpectedly but peacefully, at his home.

Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Catherine and sister-in-law Mary.

Sadly missed by his brother Noel, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, and his many good neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Ryan’s Funeral Home, Ashbourne (A84 CX52), from 5pm to 7pm this Thursday evening.

Removal on Friday morning to St Mary’s Church, Ardcath, arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am, followed by burial in Crossmacole Cemetery.
