Barnhill Dancer was the fastest semi-final winner in the Paddy & Eamon Carroll Memorial at Dundalk on Saturday night, showing fine early dash to lead from the drop of the hat in the opening heat.
Val Rogers’ son of Droopys Got It and Cherbear broke well and soon got a length on his rivals from his wide draw in six. Once clearing the bend, Barnhill Dancer was always in control and he proceeded to win by five and a quarter lengths in 28.85. Colemount Blaze ran on for second with Cloughtaney Joy a length away in third.

Martin Lanney’s veteran son of Jaytee Taylor and Darver Bridie shot up the fence to avoid an opening bend scrimmage and was always in front thereafter.
The September ’21 whelp went on to see off Tahina Ross by two lengths in 29.06. Ravenswood Roo was just a short head away in third.
