CARRIGOON AND CANYA WORTH FOLLOWING IN SLANEYSIDE KENNELS SOLUTIONS A1 STAKE

CARRIGOON BRIA, for Noel Casey, can make the most of a favourable draw in the opening semi-final of the €2,500 to the winner Slaneyside Kennels Solutions A1 stake at Kilcohan Park tonight.

The selection dead-heated with Daring Oreo last week, both clocking 28.63. They re-oppose once more, but the draw favours the Carrigoon runner. Capable of a flying start, the talented performer is selected to make every yard of the running.

Daring Oreo, for Stephanie Maguire and Michael Kenneddy, is not short of pace, and he's a leading player. Trap four isn't ideal, however, if producing his quickest start, he is sure to go very close.

In the second semi-final, Canya What stands out for trainer David Flanagan and owner Imelda Sinclair. The September puppy has won three of her eight career outings, and she's kept some really good company in recent weeks. Clocking 28.78 when winning last time, another all-the-way winning performance is expected in this.

Lucky Mover is running very well in recent times, and she's the next best for Oliver Lott. Back-to-back wins the last twice, the in-form lady posted winning runs of 28.87 and 28.84. She will need an explosive start if she's to complete the hat trick.

Rockmount Lizzie rates an exciting prospect for trainer Brendan Murphy and owner Carol O'Connor, and the December puppy can record two straight wins in the final of the €1,000 to the winner GoGreyhoundRacing.i.e. ON2/0N3 Stake final. The selection displayed bundles of speed to win in 28.64 last week, and she should have little trouble in following up.
