LISGOOLD'S LIAM TWOMEY RECORDS 75-1 TREBLE

LISGOOLD trainer Liam Twomey recorded a magnificent 75-1 treble at Youghal track last night.

Once Witches France broke in front in race eight, an A2, it was always going to take something special to reel him in. A 10-3 in the shot in the betting ring, Liam Twomey's dog was always showing massive pace upfront. Corrin Margie made big late headway, but there was no stopping the winner as he scored by a length, in 29.08.

Liam Twomey didn't have to wait long for his second, in the following race, an A6, Witches Venus broke in front and the 5-2 winner pulled clear to win by a country mile. A lovely 29.37 winning performance.

The treble was complete after Witches Atlanta delivered a classy front running display in race 11. Quickest from traps, the 5-2 shot piled on the pressure heading down the back straight. Keeping on bravely, he scored, in 29.27.

EXCITING YOUNGSTER

In other races, Daring Deise, who is owned by Stephanie Maguire and Peter Woods, looks like a youngster with a bright future after he put on a brilliant performance in race 12.

After running on a big race on debut, the March puppy was always going to be a leading player. Fantasy Jesse set a really strong early pace, but the eye was always drawn to the winner as the son of Droopys Buick hit top gear heading down the back straight. Finishing much the stronger, the 3-1 shot then ran on strongly to land the spoils, in 29.22. Three and a half lengths back to the early leader who finished second.
