Just a gentle reminder that entries for this year’s Future Champion and Michael Fortune Memorial Unraced Stake at Enniscorthy close on Thursday.
The competition has been the stepping stone for many future stars including last year’s brilliant English Derby champion Thorn Falcon.
Rumour has it there are a number of talented puppies being aimed at this year’s renewal and buyers will be plentiful. Boasting a winner’s purse of €6,000 (subject to the competition filling) and a total prize fund of €16,000, there is certain to be plenty of wonderful racing in the sunny south east in the coming weeks.
