The 2021 Greyhound and Pet World Juvenile Classic begins at the Kingdom Greyhound Stadium Tralee on Friday February 19th. Racing behind closed doors.
This event has always attracted the crème de la crème of our future canine stars. One has only look back at last year’s event and see the stars it produced.
Last year’s winner Ballymac Wild – Boylesports Irish Greyhound Derby Finalist, Epic Hero – Irish St Leger Winner, Knocknaboul Syd – English Derby Finalist and Kingdom Derby Winner, Coolavanny Chick – English Derby Finalist. These are just a few of last year’s stars and undoubtedly the 2021 event will produce the same.
Declan Dowling, Stadium Manager, speaking about the upcoming event said “I would like to sincerely thank all at Greyhound and Pet World for their continued support of our sport and this wonderful event. We are excited for February 19th and the start of the 2021 Greyhound & Pet World Juvenile Classic. We’ve had many enquiries from owners and trainers regarding trials and looking forward to a high class entry for the event.”
Qualifying and Unrecorded trial sessions will take place over the next three Friday evenings and the first round begins on Friday February 19th. For further information and trial bookings contact the racing office in Tralee on 061-448057.
