The 2026 Callaway Pro Am at Stud Race of Champions for 18 open class greyhounds over 550 yards starts at the Kingdom Greyhound Stadium on Friday 29th May. This prestigious event is once again sponsored by Denis Murphy and family and carries a fantastic winners prize of €15,000 for the two run event.
Talking about the upcoming event, sponsor Denis Murphy said how he is “delighted to be associated with the Race Of Champions at the Kingdom Greyhound Stadium. This is our fourth time sponsoring this very prestigious event and we’re looking forward to seeing the quality on show here on Friday week. It is called after our Stud Dog Callaway Pro Am who is very busy at Dunphy's Stud at present following Underground Gold sensational unbeaten English Puppy Derby win and also Bogger Bobs winning of the Waterford Masters stake in the past month. He has mated over 20 bitches in the past month alone".
Tralee Racing Manager Kieran Casey said: “We're thrilled to have Denis and family on board with us again this year for the Race of Champions and all in Tralee are extremely appreciative of the generous support. This event has seen the cream of the Irish Greyhounds grace the Tralee circuit year on year. Feedback so far is that the quality of this year's entries will be quite high with some top stars on the way to Tralee. We're all looking forward to Friday 29th May when we kick off with the semi-finals.”
