Back in 1997, we were proud to unveil our new Grandstand & this year we're celebrating it's 21st birthday!

The Grandstand here at the stadium was officially opened 21 years ago and we are holding a 21^st Birthday Party to celebrate!

Friday 1st June 2018 - Celebrate our 21st!

On June 1^st 1997 by then Tánaiste and Minsiter for Foreign Affairs Dick Spring and the Minister for State at the Department of Agriculture Jimmy Deenihan officially opened the facilities. 

We're celebrating the 21^st Birthday with an event on Friday June 1^st.

Our special birthday cake in the shape of the Grandstand will be cut by our special guest for the night Mícheál Ó Muircheartaigh.

On June 1^st 1997 the thenTánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs Dick Spring and the Minister for State at the Department of Agriculture Jimmy Deenihan performed the official opening and they will be here again 21 years on to celebrate with us.

We’re looking forward to a great night with fun for all the family with Music both before and after racing plus Face Painting & Bouncy Castle to keep the kids entertained.
