This is sure to prove very popular and it's another big event for Cork. It's a really busy time at Curraheen Park, we have enjoyed some fabulous events over the last couple of months and there are loads more coming up in the coming weeks and months. A huge well done to all involved in making these big events happen at Curraheen Park.

Sponsored by the Fitzgibbon family in memory of David: Gene Fitzgibbon (David's Brother) said: "David sadly passed away in June last year, he was only 49 and he had suffered from Motor neurone disease. "David was stone mad about Greyhound Racing and Coursing and we ran a lot of the Citizen Dogs."He was a big fan of Open racing so for us to run this event in his memory is great."

Finally, on Final night, there will be a fundraising night for Carol Liston O'Connor. The mum-of-five was diagnosed with motor neurone disease at only 41 years old. More on this in the coming weeks.
