SEVEN ODDS-ON CHANCES AT SPONSORS PRICE DERBY HEATS

Sponsors BOYLE Sports were again quick off the mark pricing up all 16 second round heats of the Derby on Sunday.

In the subsequent hours, there have been a few changes when the dust settled. In total there are seven odds-on favourites over the two nights of the second round.

The first of the odds-on chances into action is Lennies Dynamic in Friday’s Heat 2. He renews rivalry with his opening round conqueror Solo And Go but the layers seem fairly sure he will reverse that form.

Ballymac Deniro is 1-2 to win Heat 4 from an ideal draw in the stripes, while ante-post favourite Bouncing Monarch is very short odds to win the last of the Friday’s heats (Heat 8).

That means there are four odds-on favourites on Saturday. These are 2024 winner Bockos Diamond in Heat 9, joint fastest opening round winner Sleight Of Hand in Heat 12 and kennel companions Waitingforastar in Heat 14 and Wi Can James in Heat 16.
