Droopys Hottie a recent purchase at the Kilkenny sales on the 15th of February for €3,750 landed the Newbridge Track Supporters Club tri distance stake last Friday night for her new owner Donal Brennan with a winner’s prize of €1,600 in a very smart 31.51.

Since been bought this really exciting lady has won three races from six including the 14th of March she won over the 525 trip in 28.97 at Newbridge and in the opening round of the tri distance stake on 4th of April he clocked 29.19
Last Friday night at Dundalk another dog purchased in the March Limerick sales

Millroad Solo for Sallins owner Jimmy Nevin landed the final of the Horse &Hound 525 at Dundalk stadium in a slick 29.06 having won his semi-final the week before in 29.36 a dog clearly going the right way.
Incidentally the two most recent sales at Kilkenny in February and Limerick in March have thrown up plenty of winners.

Other notable winners from both sales include the following:
Miami Maggie won 28.95 Cork - bought for €450
Wonder Wood (now Kilwest Diva) won in 29.28 around Galway, Pine Wood (now Kilwest Beauty) has recorded two victories over the sprint distance in the Western track and after stepping up to 525 on Friday night won again in 29.36. She is a bitch that seems to improve with each run.
Puckane Out has won in 29.62 around Galway
Hilldun Malachi won in Dundalk 21.87 over the 400 yard trip.
Blackstone Tino won in Waterford 29.42
Snazzy Shelby won in Thurles clocking 29.32
Bellmore Monk now called Bawn Monk has won twice around Mullingar in 29.84 and 30.13
MissBlueWood dual winner at Lifford.
Yelda won in Limerick 29.20 on 17th of April.
Some others that have been sold across the water to win in recent times are Dellser Cassie at Sunderland, Knockroe Emma sprint winner at Monmore, Miami Mist winner at Sheffield and Snazzy Panda a dual winner in Harlow.
The next GRI sales takes place at Kilkenny track on Saturday 24th of May.
