The unfortunate news came through this morning that Bouncing Monarch will be a non-runner from the final of the BOYLE Sports Champion Stakes at Shelbourne Park on Saturday night.

The brilliant, record-breaking, Kirby Memorial winner was set to race from five after impressing in his semi-final but was withdrawn this morning. It means that the trap will be vacant.
