LASS SET FOR O’NEILLS SUCCESS AT DUNDALK

Ian Fortune

After returning to something like her best in the semi-finals, Drveen Lass is set to come home in front in the final of the valuable O’Neills Dogfood A2/A3 525.

A consistent early pacer, the daughter of Burgess Bucks and Moss Avenue will need to be at her sharpest as both Monleek Sudan and Wiffens Gold are likely to go up strongly on either side of her.

Country Blues is in fine form and stays far further. She will be finishing at speed and any traffic on the inside of the track could play to her strengths but Drveen Lass remains the choice. Jim Joe McGrath’s charge is chosen to make every, perhaps at the expense of Country Blues.
