BUCKLEY ENTERS A TEAM OF 6 FOR DERBY

The eagle-eyed amongst you may have noticed that the entry list posted yesterday morning for the BOYLE Sports Irish Greyhound Derby didn’t feature any runners from Pat Buckley.

Well, soon after that was published, the great man made his entry and it feature six very talented trackers.

Of course, Glengar Silent was a finalist last year. He returns for the 2026 renewal and will be joined by some big names including English Derby finalist Hackney Corner, Enniscorthy 525yd track record holder Glengar Kane and exciting youngsters Grouchos Chief, Grouchos Frank and Glengar Phantom.

The Derby draw is scheduled for midday Monday and final entries will be confirmed today. At present, we look likely to have the magic 144 with the potential for a few reserves in the back pocket also. The link to view a live stream of the Derby draw will be posted in the morning.
