EXPECT PLENTY OF TOP CLASS PERFORMANCES IN THE JUVENILE CLASSIC

EXPECT PLENTY OF TOP CLASS PERFORMANCES IN THE JUVENILE CLASSIC

Barry Drake

DA BOLD FALCON, trained by Jack Kennelly for Patrick McDonagh, can make it back-to-back wins in tonight's second round of the Juvenile Classic at the Kingdom Greyhound Stadium.

The April son of Droopys Sydney and Hail Cleopatra delivered a sensational debut performance last week, clocking 28.13, and going on that winning effort, he should take the world of beating in this. One of the hottest prospects in the world of greyhound racing, another special performance is very much expected in tonight's opening heat.

CAUGHT THE EYE IN THE OPENING ROUND

Trained by Pat Kiely for Michael Kiely and Michael Ryan, DROOPYS CARBINE caught my eye in defeat in the opening round.

This February son of Droopys Jet and Droopys Pickles is expected to improve on his third-placed effort and land the spoils tonight. Drawn along the rails in the third heat of the night, the exciting young talent should go very close.

INCREDIBLE DEBUT WINNING PERFORMANCE

COOLAVANNY OTTO, trained by Pat Buckley for James & Nathan Corden, delivered an incredible debut performance, posting a magnificent 28.04.

It's not often you see that kind of run on the first time of asking and the son of Droopys Sydney and Westwind Jet will be fancied to record back-to-back winning performances in the fourth heat. The May puppy has bundles of all-round speed and he should take serious stopping.

A NARROW VOTE

Liam Dowling holds a strong hand in the second heat and BALLYMAC PATRIOT lands a narrow vote.

A June son of Ballymac Cashout and Ballymac Wisdom, things didn't go right in the opening round, and with a better start in this, he is capable of a huge run and the talented youngster should be in the mix.
