AMAZING POWER WORTH FOLLOWING IN A4 DEISE DERBY

The second round of the €5,000 to the winner W.G.O.B.A A4 Guys & Dolls Deise Derby takes centre stage at the Kilcohan Park Greyhound Stadium tonight.

Star of the opening round, Amazing Power is the pick in the second heat for the kennel of Michael Meade. The July '24 whelp is an improving sort, and that was a career-best performance last week, clocking 29.00. The selection is drawn well in two, and with another quick start, it should be all one-way traffic up front.

Moonveen Floss, for the kennel of Charlie Mackey, is fancied to take the third heat. A strong-running display to win, in 29.54 last week, the selection is once again well drawn along the rails. She has a nice touch of speed to the corner and if leading around, which looks likely, then it would take a big performance to reel her back in.

The other two heats look wide-open with a narrow vote to Nans Lark in the opening heat for Maurice Whittle and Siennas Local in the closing heat for trainer David Flanagan.
