SLEIGHT AND JAMES TOP DERBY ‘WITHOUT THE FAVOURITE’ MARKET

It is perhaps no surprise given their position in the win market but Sleight Of Hand and Wi Can James top the betting without Bouncing Monarch market in the BOYLE Sports Irish Greyhound Derby decider.

Sleight Of Hand was originally put in at 8-1 in the win market but, after sustained support, is now 5-1 with BOYLE Sports, although Damien Lonergan of the sponsors has suggested he will probably go back out to 6-1 once the market starts to develop and money comes for others later in the week.

Sleight Of Hand and Wi Can James are both 2-1 in the without Bouncing Monarch market with Bockos Gold next in at 11-4. It’s then 7-2 Im Here with Hackney Dancer the outsider at 10-1. Given the fact that Bouncing Monarch is so short in the win market, the betting without market should attract more money than usual and gives people a different and perhaps more tempting option for the final.
