Skilled Sean and Home Darragh would emerge on top in the semi-finals of the Pat Curtin Memorial Cup at Mullingar on Saturday night.

    SEAN SHOOTS CLEAR

Both greyhounds would make every inch with Skilled Sean going fastest in the second heat.

Owned and trained by Joe McKenna, the son of Ballymac Best and Find A Penny would rocket from trap three to build a sizeable advantage, one he would never relinquish. At the line, the March ’22 whelp would have four lengths to spare over the staying on Freffans Tess in 29.61.

    DARRAGH ALWAYS IN CONTROL

Home Darragh maintained his unbeaten record in the competition with a similar effort in the opening heat.

Marcella Campbell’s son of Jaytee Jet and Home Julie was never as far clear as Skilled Sean but he kept finding out front to contain the best efforts of Kilbride Duchess by a length in 29.78. Fahy Shop was a further half length adrift in third.
