Clonmel will play host to the first major competition of 2026, with the opening round heats of the Rural Kennels Unraced 525 fast approaching.
A stake that consistently uncovers the next crop of emerging talent, the event is once again kindly sponsored by Helen O’Dwyer, a longstanding and valued supporter of the track. A first prize of €7,000 is on offer this year, and owners and trainers are advised to enter early.
Past winners of the competition include Romeo Taylor, Rural Kihei and, most recently, The Other Wild. Should you have a suitable entry, please reach out to Eddie Anderson at the Clonmel racing office.
