PROSPECTS ON SHOW IN DUNDALK FINAL

The final of the Track Supporters Club ON1 400 will attract plenty of interest at Dundalk this evening with a couple of real prospects going head-to-head.

Rusty Tractor was a superb semi-final winner, posting a rapid 21.16. It came as no surprise after some impressive qualifying form.

The same can be said for Boylesports Acca, however. He too flew in his qualifying trials and looked a real pro in a 21.34 success last weekend. He can go even faster and is seen as a real threat to Rusty Tractor. Of course, each of the remaining quartet are open to much improvement also but one suspects the big two will quickly come to the fore. Should Rusty Tractor start on terms from an inside draw, he may hold his position into the bend to slip around in front. That could make the difference.
