LENNIES DESIRE CAN PROVE A CLASS APART IN DEISE PLASTERING 730

The semi-finals of the €5,000 to the winner Deise Plastering Novice 730 take centre stage at Kilcohan Park tonight.

All eyes will be on Lennies Desire in the second heat for trainer Paul Hennessy and owner Lee Craze. The selection has plenty of top-class form over the standard trip, and he delivered a big staying run last week when stopping the clock, in 40.72. 

The way he came from well off the pace was impressive, and we know he is capable of a quick start. He should take the world of beating.

Blackstone Cola, trained by David Flanagan for owner Matthew Derrick, can record back-to-back winning performances in the opening heat. The May puppy is a youngster going places, and she really enjoyed the step up in distance last week, winning in 40.99. 

The best is yet to come, and she should take plenty of stopping.

Blastoff Cooper, for Philip Buckley and Robert Bradshaw, is another that should be in the mix. He caught the eye in defeat last time out, and on that running, he should go well from the rails pitch.
