The semi-finals of the €5,000 to the winner Casey's Caravan & Camping Park ON1 Stake are the standout races at Kilcohan Park on Saturday night.

Kilbride King, trained by Robert Gleeson for owner Paul Allen, is the pick in the opening heat. The September puppy impressed on debut, showing all sorts of speed to win, in 28.51. Going on that run, back-to-back winning performances are expected.

Jacktavern Tank, trained by Paul Hennessy for owners the Pillar Syndicate, was another that went into the notebook last time out, and the November puppy is one to watch. He has five and a half lengths to make up on the selection; however, he looks certain to improve plenty to the debut outing.

The second heat looks wide open; however, Hillcrest Lola overcame a slow start and early trouble to win on debut, posting 29.24. There is no doubt that if she can come away on terms and with a clear run, she can go miles faster. The August puppy has a big future ahead, and she's the one to beat for sure.
