KATHLEEN & TANK ODDS ON FOR EASTER HEATS

BOYLE Sports have issued prices for the three second round heats of the Shelbourne Park Bookmakers Easter Cup and there is a clear favourite in each, with both Lennies Tank and Droopys Kathleen odds-on for their respective assignments.

Despite suffering defeat last week, the Paul Hennessy trained Lennies Tank is 4-5 to come home in front in the opening heat. Callaway Five was so impressive in the opening round and is next in at 5-2.

In the second heat, Droopys Kathleen is even an shorter price than Lennies Tank at 4-6. It was wonderful to see her return to winning ways last week but a trap our draw is not ideal. That said, the odds seem perfectly fair given the fact that she should have to much early speed for those on her flanks. Ballyhooly Bruno is her main market rival at 4-1, although Lemon Orla is just a fraction bigger at 5-1.

While not odds-on, Droopys Faithful is also a warm favourite for the last of the three heats at 5-4. Despite impressing in the opening round, she gave warning that better was to come. Hackney Mati is a worthy adversary, however. He is just 11-4 with his kennel companion Coosane Pickles next at 7-2.
