IRELAND’S TOWCESTER PROGRESS BY NUMBERS

A total of 20 Irish greyhounds from a possible 25 qualified from the second round of the Star Sports& Orchestrate English Greyhound Derby over the weekend with 8 of the 16 heats, or exactly half, going to the raiding party.

There were some exceptional performances over the two nights and it was no surprise to see the Irish sending out the fastest heat winner on each evening with Epic Ace equalling the track record on Friday before Ballymac Duffle bettered his own mark on Saturday.
