FINAL REMINDER: CELEBRITY COMMENTATOR CHALLENGE TAKES CENTRE STAGE AT SHELBOURNE PARK TOMORROW NIGHT

The countdown is almost over as the BOYLE Sports Irish Greyhound Derby Celebrity Commentator Challenge takes place tomorrow night at Shelbourne Park, and greyhound racing fans are being encouraged to get behind our two brave contenders as they swap the comfort of the GAA pitch for the pressure of the commentary box!

Former All-Ireland winners Diarmuid Connolly (Dublin) and Eoin Cadogan (Cork) will put their broadcasting skills to the test in front of a Quarter Final Derby crowd. Connolly will take charge of the commentary for Race 4, while Cadogan will step up for Race 5 in what promises to be a most interesting departure from the regular programme!

Both men have enjoyed outstanding sporting careers, but commentating on a greyhound race at full speed is an entirely different challenge. The pair will discover first-hand the skill, concentration and quick thinking required to be a race commentator, hopefully the Commentator Masterclass they attended under Ian Fortune will help them to deliver!

So, if you're joining us at Shelbourne Park tomorrow night, be sure to keep an eye on Races 4 and 5, cheer on Diarmuid and Eoin, and show your support as they take on one of the toughest jobs in sport.
