An impressive winner in 28.44 in the semi-finals, he was the 6-4 favourite to follow up and he did just that, posting the exact same time as seven days earlier. Old Chicgo set a strong gallop in the early yards, chased by Alien Bat into the back straight but neither could handle the middle pace of Coolemount Fame.
Moving with real purpose down the back straight, the son of Orchestrate and Highview Dreamer struck the front at halfway and quickly put daylight between himself and his pursuers. Coolemount Fame waved goodbye to graded company by emerging a five and a half length winner over Old Chicago in 28.44.
