DUNDALK SEEKING EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST FOR INTERNATIONAL

As I pen these words, the 2025 Dundalk International is less than a month away.

The famous invitation is always one of the highlights of the summer and the traditional July 12th showpiece promises to be one of the races of the year.

The racing office at Dundalk are currently inviting expressions of Interest from anyone with a greyhound boasting a suitable CV. One suspects there will be no shortage of interested parties with a whopping €20,000 and wonderful trophy on offer to the winner.

It’s notable that 2024 English Derby runner-up Boylesports Bob is set to trial on Saturday night at Dundalk, while there has also been contact from connections of the UK Laurels champion Aayamza Sydney.

Droopys Deploy, a Kirby Memorial finalist and Newcastle’s Northern Puppy Derby winner, has also been booked in for a trial and is a possible runner.
