BOSCO’S MEMORIAL GETS UNDERWAY AT NEWBRIDGE

The opening round of the valuable Bosco Gleeson Memorial gets underway at Newbridge this evening.

The A2 stake features a number of promising youngster and it seems safe to suggest there will be many improved performances from the younger crew, although a few older back-graders appeal on the card.

ICE AND DUBH APPEAL

These include top stayer Priceless On Ice and the talented Glenlara Dubh.

The former has an ideal draw on the fence in Heat 5 and can turn close enough to ensure that she comes through to score in the latter stages.

Glenlara Dubh is perfectly housed in the strips in the final heat and can have too much or his rivals if starting on terms.

Droopys Weaver is the choice to win Heat 3. A strong running lady with fine pace from the second turn, she is chosen to lead home the well bred Changed Times. Black Daimler, Blacktrench Bog and Jaytee Dallas are chosen to come home in front in the remaining heats.
