Last Saturday night saw Graham Holland seal an historic 5th Irish Greyhound Derby crown as Bockos Gold crossed the line in front, and the newly-crowned champion will make a special guest appearance at his local track, Clonmel, this Friday night.
The massive tracker was simply brilliant in landing the greatest prize in Greyhound Racing at Shelbourne Park on Saturday night, clocking an exceptional 29.05 in the process, which is the fastest time ever recorded in an Irish Derby final.
One can assume Bockos Gold has enjoyed a nice easy week as a result, and those in attendance at Clonmel Greyhound Stadium this Friday, 18th September, will be treated to his presence as he is paraded at the Suirside venue.
The track will host a ten-race card on the night, which will also feature the final of the 1XBET A1/A2 550, worth a handsome €1,700 to the winner. A full preview of that final will be available on Talking Dogs on Friday morning.
