BIG CROWD IN TRALEE AS DOONMORE DREAM LANDS THE FEATURE

The afternoon racing with Roses meeting drew a wonderful crowd in Tralee on Saturday, it was a fabulous day for both racing with an all sponsored card and lots of family fun with all the Roses, Escorts, Rosebuds, Rose buddies and families.

With plenty of fun off the track too for the big crowd in attendance. 

The feature on the day was the €2,100 to the winner Xcel with your racer A4 Rose of Tralee final and it went the way of Doonmore Dream (Dorotas Wildcat-Cicero) for the kennel of Michael Sweeney.

The 1-3 favourite did it the hard way, coming from last to first to score. The October puppy had caught the eye in the semi finals when clocking 28.39 and this was another powerful display.

Doing his best running in the second half of the race, the exciting prospect finished with a flourish to beat Bowies Choice, by a length and a half, in 28.88.
