HANZO HEADS THE PLATE MARKET

After impressing in the early rounds of the English Derby, Romeo Hanzo has been installed the favourite to come home in front in the Boylesports Champion Plate.

The competition was won in the last two years by subsequent Derby third Jackslittlething in 2021 and Derby champion Born Warrior twelve months ago.

One wonders will this year’s winner have a similar impact on the Derby. Just behind Romeo Hanzo are a group of four talented greyhounds, Music Glideaway, Beepers Lariat, Optic Chico and Ballyhimkin Leo, all of which can be backed at 6-1 with Boylesports.
