2020 Bitch of the Year Meenagh Miracle is a mum.

Michael Cor revealed the news to the world yesterday when posting on Facebook, “Meenagh Miracle (2020 bitch of the year) x Ballymac Kingdom (2020 stayer of the Year). That's what I call greyhound royalty. 3 dogs, 5 bitches. Mum and pups all doing well”

The accompanying picture would suggest the brilliant daughter of Farloe Rumble and Rios Girl is a natural. Paul Matthews, her breeder, actually pupped the litter and reports they are massive. As for the future, Paul Matthews is to keep half the litter, while Michael will keep his half.

Obviously there has been plenty of interest but one suspects most of the pups will stay where they are for the moment.

Meenagh Miracle had one of the great years in 2020. Not only did she capture the Cesarewitch at Mullingar in a track record breaking time but also finished a close second to Newinn Taylor in the Derby, while also finishing third to Epic Hero in the Leger.

We look forward to seeing the pups hit the track in the second half of 2023. I’m sure if they have half the talent of their parents, they will make headlines.
