The greyhound and pet world 2023 Juvenile Classic kicks off at the Kingdom Greyhound Stadium next Saturday - February 18th.

Excitement is building in anticipation at more superstars emerging from this wonderful event. Potential winners from all of Ireland's top trainers have been trialed around Tralee over the last few weeks.

Trainer Pat Guilfoyle won the 2022 event with the Lars & Anita owned Wi Can Dream who later contested the final of the Leger in Limerick. In addition to 2021 and 2020 winners Singalong Sally and Ballymac Wild emerging as tremendous stars, over the last number of years many runners starting off their career with this event have gone on to contest all the classics here and in the UK.
Speaking at the launch of this year's event Liam Murphy of sponsors Greyhound & Pet World in Abbeyfeale said "we're delighted to be associated with such a prestigious event and having seen the top class dogs that have emerged over the last few years, we're all really looking forward to this year's Juvenile Classic."
First round heats are next Saturday and entries for the draw will close on Tuesday 14th, so if you haven't got your entry in yet call the racing office in Tralee on 061448057.
