SUSIE STILL ON TRACK FOR EASTER CHALLENGE

Owen McKenna confirmed this morning that Susie Sapphire is still on track to challenge for the Bresbet Easter Cup at Shelbourne Park.
The oldest classic on the calendar gets underway on February 19th and Owen reports his star in wonderful shape after a couple of recent trials.
Said McKenna, “We might run her this Saturday if we get a race but the Easter Cup is the target. She’s in great order and has come out of all her work in flying form. We couldn’t ask for much more.”
