The semi-finals of the €2,550 to the winner Gertie Power & Joyce O'Regan Memorial A2 produced two fantastic performances in Kilcohan Park on Saturday night.

In the opening heat, Rathfalla Logan delivered a great performance to land the spoils, in 28.92, for George Roche. Following up on last week's winning performance, the in-form tracker put on another powerful display to follow up and record back-to-back winning performances. On top in the closing stages, the 7-2 shot beat Slaneyside Hanks, by half a length. Favourite Carrigoon Mia was a further length and a half back in third.

IMPRESSIVE WINNER
Banba Brightside landed the second heat for Fiona Goff.

After a decent start along the outside of the track, the 3-1 winner flew down the back straight, hitting the front before halfway, the impressive winner then stayed on strongly to deny the running on Rosegarland Niro, by a length and a half, in 28.84. Freedom Sonia was a length and a half back in third place.
