REQUEST AND GLYNNS SOLD BUT STAY WITH ROBERT

Ian Fortune

Robert Gleeson confirmed that Droopys Request has been sold ahead of her Suncroft Festival Puppy Oaks appearance on Saturday night.

James Collins, who has owned dogs with Robert in the past, has purchased the exciting daughter of Droopys Sydney and she will be staying where she is for a crack at the Sporting Press Irish Oaks in the coming weeks.

Robert also confirmed that his recent 28.66 debut scorer at Newbridge, Many In Glynns, has been sold to the Aayamza Boys. He looks a very exciting prospect and will be renamed Aayamza Force in the coming weeks.

A son of Crash and Limini, he made quite an impression on debut, easing right away to win by a dozen lengths. He is, of course, a half-brother to Derby third Jackslittlething and the talented Swords Maestro. It’s clear he has a big future and his aim target is the Juvenile Derby, although Robert has suggested they will also consider a crack at the Champion 550 at Shelbourne Park.
