Blackstone Lacey continued the superb start to her career at Kilkenny on Friday evening as she emerged a good winner of the feature, the final of the Caesars Takeaway ON2 525.

Pat Sinnott’s daughter of Droopys Sydney and Calzaghe Jan went up ell to challenge Ballintee Noshow before asserting on the corner.

Once moving on, Blackstone Lacey was in a league of her own. The exciting puppy, who won’t be two until next May, pulled right away to emerge a facile seven length scorer in a rapid 28.85. Romeo Jet came through for second.

Elsewhere on the card there as a tremendous run from Bogger Hunter in the seventh race.

Leading throughout, the brother to Derby heat winner Callaway Pro Am emerged a five-length scorer for Liam Peacock in 28.78. He’s clearly a greyhound to keep an eye on.
