GRI
Gearóid O'Brien from Dromana in Waterford, grew up with a huge interest in greyhounds, but his spina bifida was causing him problems and he was in and out of hospital.
Last year his public health nurse got in touch and they spoke about his love of greyhounds. As part of the Social Prescribing programme, she got in touch with trainer Peter Cronin. Peter gave Gearóid a call and the rest as they say is history.
