SEVEN BEACH (Pestana-Whitings Gift) put on another spectacular performance when winning the €15,000 to the winner Callaway Pro Am @ Stud Race on Champions Final at the Kingdom Greyhound Stadium on Friday night, clocking a sensational 29.09, which was six spots quicker than the Track Record he set last weekend.
Trained by Jennifer O’Donnell for owners The Beach Boys Trio Syndicate, the 13-8 favourite produced an explosive start and he easily led around the opening turns. It was as good a break as your ever likely to see and the classy performer took control right away.
Storming clear on the back straight, it was all one way traffic up front and it was clear he was on for another huge run. Cheque For Cash sat second early, but the talented Callaway Knegare was showing bundles of pace in behind and he ran a cracker to finish second, reducing the margin late on. However, this was all about Seven Beach and it was another big night for connections.
A previous winner of the Gold Cup and a recent winner of the Select Stakes, this was a performance of the very highest order.
A four length success over Callaway Knegare with two and a half lengths back to Singalong Molly in second.

LUKA TRACK RECORD
Elsewhere on the card, Magical Luka (King Sheeran-Magical Mary) made it the perfect five wins from five carrer starts when breaking the 500-yard Track Record in second round of the Moorstown Kennel Stakes A3.
Owned and trained by Patrick Guilfoyle, the October puppy just made the corner in front and the exciting talent opened up on the back straight. Showing massive speed, the 1-5 favourite was in a different league to his opposition.
A 26.64 Track Record run, eight lengths clear of Ballymac Ninjago.
