We’re entering a busy time for those involved in Kilkenny track.

This Friday’s action will feature the final of the Boylesports A3 Bitch 525 and the final of the Grange Road Gallop (Mooncoin) A2 525. The Boylesports A3 Bitch final boasts a winner’s purse €4,800 and it’s safe to assume that many of those involved will be having their final starts in A3 company for some time.

Kevin Loughnane’s Benalmadena Roxy and Henry Kelly’s Karlow Lark are likely to dominate the market, although there are plenty with the potential to have a big say. There will be a full preview on this page on Friday morning.

Entries are invited for The JAG Building Services & KGOBA A1/A2 525 Derby which commences on Friday, September 3rd. Once again, this year’s event is for 48 greyhounds and with a whopping winner’s prize of €9,000 they should have no problem attracting a full entry.

The next sales at Kilkenny will go ahead as planned on Saturday, August 28th. There has been a very strong interest in the sale and there are only a couple of vacancies left. Shoul you wish to enter your greyhound, get in touch ASAP.

The first trial of the morning is scheduled for 8.30am (weigh in starts at 8am) and, once again, will be available to view through the Livestock Live System (LSL). Given the success of the sales in recent months, it really is worth taking note. Who knows? You could find yourself purchasing the next Storys Peewee (See separate story).
