There will be a top-class card at Kilkenny on Friday with the opening round heats of the Boylesports Bookmakers A3 Bitch stake dominating proceedings.

The stake which is for 36 bitches is worth a tremendous €4,800 to the winner and should provide some terrific racing over the coming weeks.

Friday’s card will also feature the final of the KGOBA ON3 525, while the Boylesports Derby trial stake has also attracted a classy entry.

Looking heading, entries are now invited for the JAG Building Services & KGOBA A1/A2 Derby.

Again, sponsored by Gavin O’Mahoney & the KGOBA, this year’s event is for 48 greyhounds and is sure to prove popular with a wonderful €9,000 going to the winner.

The opening round is scheduled for Friday, September 3rd. Prior to this, entries are now invited for The Grange Road Gallop (Mooncoin) A2/A3 525. A 24-dog stake boasting a winner’s prize of €1,300, it commences on Friday, August 13th.

Following the success of the sales meetings at Kilkenny over the past year or so, it’s worth putting in your notebook that the next sales will take place on Saturday, August 28th.

Owners wishing to enter their greyhound for the sales are encouraged to do so ASAP.
