Kingdom Greyhound Stadium are proud to announce the sponsorship of a new major sweepstake for coursing bred greyhounds at Tralee.

This event called The Red and White Collar Puppy Stake is kindly sponsored by Gavin Johns and Paul Horrig who are massive supporters of coursing.

This stake over the 325 yds sprint distance will be for 72 dogs and bitches who were eligible to run in trial stakes this coursing season (2020/2021). The winner's prize will be €5,000, four to qualify in first round making it a five round event and a consolation final for greyhounds eliminated in the two semi-finals. This event will commence on Saturday March 27th and is confined to greyhounds sired from recognised coursing sires only.

Joint sponsor Gavin Johns stated "After a frustrating number of months on the coursing scene we are delighted to sponsor this event and hope that we have entrants from all over Ireland for what should be a terrific event."

Declan Dowling on behalf of the stadium said "We would like to thank Gavin and Paul for their very generous sponsorship, they felt with that the disruption to this year's coursing season they wanted to give owners and trainers of coursing bred an outlet to keep their charges in tune for the 2021/2022 coursing season."
