Premium Sale Offers Top Young Talent and €5,000 Bonus Incentive.
The much-anticipated Shelbourne Elite Sales returns to Shelbourne Park on Saturday, 26th July, with trials commencing at 9:30am. This elite sale will feature a maximum of 44 lots, with 40 advertised, ensuring a high-quality and manageable catalogue for buyers and sellers alike.
The sale will include:
- Up to 20 unraced greyhounds (Aug ’23 whelps or younger)
- Raced greyhounds (Jan ’23 whelps or younger)
Unraced greyhounds will be listed first in the catalogue, sorted youngest to oldest, followed by raced greyhounds on the same basis. All unraced entries must have at least one official trial on their card.
Trial Guidelines
- 525yds trials only for unraced greyhounds
- Raced greyhounds may trial over 525yds or longer, provided they have prior form over the chosen trip
- All trials are 2-dog format
- Official trial times will guide entry acceptance
- All entries must be accompanied by a valid pet passport
- Entry fee: €50
Catalogue seeding for unraced greyhounds will be based on trial comments.
Bonus Incentive:
A €5,000 bonus will be awarded to any greyhound sold at this sale who goes on to contest the Final of one of the following major events:
- Time Puppy Derby (2025)
- Boylesports Derby (2025)
- Bar One Laurels (2025)
- Con & Anne Kirby Memorial (2026)
(Only one bonus per greyhound regardless of multiple qualifications.)
