OUTSTANDING FRONT RUNNING DISPLAY FROM CORMACS JET

OUTSTANDING FRONT RUNNING DISPLAY FROM CORMACS JET

Barry Drake

The €1,200 to the winner of the Jack, Mary & Brian Finn Memorial went the way of Cormacs Jet at Curraheen Park on Saturday night.

Trained by Patrick O'Connor for owners Nicholas Murphy and Philip Ryan, the son of Droopys Jet-Dream Believer brought his winning tally to three wins from three career outings with an outstanding front running display.

After bolting from traps and then showing massive early gears, the winner was firmly in control heading down the back straight. Power Over Me, one of the leading fancies, found early trouble and he was making good headway late on. It was a real likeable performance from the winner, dominating from start to finish, in 28.62. Seven lengths back to Power Over Me in second place.
