As announced by An Taoiseach on Friday evening last, the majority of COVID 19 restrictions that have been in place have been lifted as and from Saturday 22nd January. Following on from this announcement Greyhound Racing Ireland, from today, Monday 24th January will be implementing the following racing schedule at RCÉ/GRI licenced stadia:

Additionally, in line with the government guidance, formal requirements for physical distancing, limits on the number of people per table, seated only indoor events and the COVID pass requirements will be removed. Mask wearing is still encouraged at RCÉ venues and staff in customer facing roles across all venues will continue to wear masks in line with this guidance.
Normal food, beverage & tote operations will resume, however there may be some restrictions in restaurant availability as we rebuild our catering and Tote teams.
There is no doubt that the last two years have been challenging for the Greyhound Industry like other sectors of society, RCÉ would like to sincerely thank all involved for the level of co-operation we have seen since the initial resumption of racing activity in July 2020.
While the pandemic is not yet over, we look forward to adjusting to the “new normal” and will continue to implement all relevant protocols to safeguard public health.
