In the second semi final, Killacolla Hill came home in front for Michael Fitzgerald. The 2-1 shot just made the corner in front, however, Tatafornow was soon in front, but the powerful running winner battled back to land the spoils. Staying on strongly late on, the impressive winner came home four lengths clear, in 29.97.
