In sensational form of late, Cappoquin handler Andy Lynch added another winner to his impressive recent winning tally as Choice Exile took the feature at Youghal track on Monday night, winning the A0-A1 event.

 The 2-1 market leader making full use of the inside line at the opening turns and avoiding the trouble in behind. Showing plenty of speed to quickly move four clear, he increased that to five at the winning line. Wagga Maid best of rest, in 29.26.

BEST OF NIGHT
The quickest run of the night came in race 10 when Druids Just So came from the clouds to win in 29.05.

John Brennan's runner had six lengths to make up midway down the back, but she powered home and reeled in Cavies Heather. A two-length victory for the 10-3 shot who looks a classy stayer.

MARK DRINAN DOUBLE

Knockboy Ruby, trained by Mark Drinan for Donal Kenneally, Kilworth, brought her winning tally to seven with a gutsy display in race five, an A2.

Always prominent, she outstayed Slaneyside Think late on. Half a length clear in 29.26, at odds of 7-2.
Drinan doubled up when Watch Out Dan applied front running tactics to take race 11, an A3, in great style. A 7-2 winner, the improving youngster was two lengths clear of Get Old Blue. A 29.30 winning effort.
